Cart GUL software is regularly updated to support new sensors, improve functionality, enhance usability, and resolve issues. Minor updates are typically issued every two weeks, with major releases approximately once a year.
Check for available updates directly from the software Help menu, or use the download sites below.
The download sites are password protected. Use the username and password provided during your GUL training. If you need your access details reissued, email support@guided‑ultrasonics.com and include the serial number of the instrument you use.
To validate a software licence during installation, the computer must be connected to a licensed instrument. WaveProV™ requires a Wavemaker® G5, WavePro4™ a Wavemaker® G4MINI, WaveProQSR™ a QSR® ePOD.
Installation can also be validated without an instrument using a USB iButton® Reader and an iButton® with a Standalone Analysis licence.
GUL instruments may require firmware updates to support new equipment or functionality. Firmware is normally updated as part of the Calibration Service.
If a firmware update is required for newly purchased equipment, GUL will provide the appropriate files and installation instructions.
A valid inspector iButton® can be used with a USB iButton® Reader to open GUL software without connecting the computer to an instrument.
The required USB iButton® Reader drivers are included with the GUL software installation files.
