QSR^® Axial is a low‑profile device designed to fit snugly into tight spaces near pipe supports and in pipe racks.

It combines with the QSR1^® electronics pod (ePOD) to send guided waves axially along a pipe, while moving circumferentially around it as described in the Axial QSR^® overview page.

This orientation allows even further applications for the QSR ^{Scanning System}, like clamped supports, wall penetrations, and air‑ground interfaces.
