Solid transducer rings are used for screening of pipes with nominal size between 2″ and 8″ in diameter. The rings are clamped to the pipe by tightening the two ergonomic handles, firmly pressing the spring‑loaded transducers onto the surface to obtain good shear contact.
Standard configurations operate with torsional guided wave modes, requiring just two rows of transducers. Special versions can be manufactured in non‑standard sizes, or with 4 rows of transducers to enable inspection using both torsional and longitudinal modes.
Application areas include:
- Bare / Painted Pipes
- Unsleeved / Sleeved Road Crossings
- Buried Pipes
