Calibration T&Cs – Release 2.0 – Dec 2025
Unless expressly agreed in writing by Guided Ultrasonics Limited (GUL), purchase orders are accepted upon and are subject to the following terms and conditions. The customer’s purchase order shall not form a variation to these terms and conditions.
1.1 Any quotation issued by Guided Ultrasonics Ltd (“GUL”) is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
2.1 The price quoted is exclusive of VAT where appropriate.
2.2 Where appropriate, local duties and sales tax may apply.
2.3 The price is exclusive of bank fees, and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to cover any bank charges when processing payment on invoices.
3.1 Standard time for calibration service is two weeks upon receipt of the equipment, subject to inspection and confirmation of the work to be carried out.
3.2 On inspection of the equipment, if any repair or damage outside the calibration service is identified, the client will be notified of the issue, and GUL reserves the right to charge for any repairs.
3.3 All prices are Incoterms CPT (Carriage Paid To). GUL will arrange a freight carrier and delivery of goods to the confirmed shipping address unless the client chooses to arrange collection using its nominated freight service.
4.1 Where a chargeable repair is performed, the work carried out and the parts used are guaranteed for 12 months.
4.2 These guarantees do not affect statutory rights in relation to the quality and description of materials and services.
4.3 Faults arising in the future which show similar symptoms to those covered by the initial repair may be due to a different fault or component. GUL technicians will determine whether this is the case.
5.1 Calibration inspection checks cover all internal batteries, connectors and relays; a full diagnostics test series covering all Lemo connector channels and mounted boards; and checks of the front panel keypad and screen, GPS module, internal metalwork and enclosure, and iButton reader.
5.2 All firmware and software updates are included in the calibration service.
5.3 All warranties, conditions, and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from this agreement.
5.4 Nothing in this agreement limits or excludes the liability of GUL for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or for any damage or liability incurred as a result of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by GUL.
5.5 Subject to clauses 4.1 and 4.2, GUL shall not be liable for loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill or similar losses, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goods, loss of contract, loss of use, loss or corruption of data or information, or any special, indirect, consequential, or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges, or expenses. GUL’s total liability arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the goods.
6.1 All documentation and software are provided in the English language.
7.1 The information contained in this document is strictly confidential and may be legally privileged. It is intended only for the addressee. Disclosure, copying, distribution, or reliance upon it is prohibited and may be unlawful.
7.2 The processing of any personal data provided in relation to this purchase shall be carried out in accordance with GUL’s Privacy Policy.
8.1 This purchase and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
